The diagram below shows some design principles for an energy-efficient house and how they work in different climates.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

 Writing Task 1

The diagram illustrates the constructed house inspired to be energy-efficient in working with different climate conditions. Overall, this house has two properties that make to compensate the temperature inside the house despite of warm and cold climate conditions.

The house has reflective roof covering in which during warm season, the skylight will bounce back and avoid the heat of the sunlight to penetrate the roof of the house that may increment to temperature during warm season. On the other hand, during cold season, the triple-glazed skylight and heat maximize have the capability to allow the skylight to enter to compensate good temperature inside the house.

In addition, the design of the house is equipped in providing good and stabilized temperature to the house as it has insulation aspect that help to avoid heat, an underground floor that ensures that the flow of the heat is retained, and another underground floor that protect the house from sun.

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Once children enter school, teachers have more influence on their intellectual and social developments than parents.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

You should write at least 250 words.

As the children send to school, teachers have a lot of contribution in honing the children's intellectual and social developments than the parents. However, I beg to disagree with that concept.

It is valid that one-third of the children's time are mostly in the school. Children are trained not just only academically, but also to their character as a well-being. The teachers are practiced to be intellect through different lessons and skills. And part of it is discipline the right manners and good conduct that is part of the curriculum. But one of the saying tells that "Everything was all started at home."

Children start to cope intellectually and socially at home with their parents. Because started from their natal days, parents are the ones who taught children to adopt by their enviroment, trained how to walk by their feet, teach how to eat on their own, and speak by their mouth. Through the guidance of the parents, they became more intellectually and socially smart. Parents ensure that they children are ready to adopt with many people before sending them to school.

In conclusion, what influence to the children in terms of their intellectual and social development are their parents and their teachers are secondary to that. Without their parents, the children are not confident enough to socialize with their classmates and teachers at school, they are be more disciplined in the public, and the children is incapable of standing on his own ability to interact with other people and to excel in school without the motivation of their parents that guide them since day one.
