Some people feel that manufacturers and supermarkets have the responsibility to reduce the amount of packaging of goods. Others argue that customers should avoid buying goods with a lot of packaging. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Answer

In this era, there are a lot of catagories of packages, most of packages made of plastics that is not friendly to an environment. Therefore, reducing of using too much packages is agreed by some groups of people. There are two concepts, producers should manage this issue responsibly or this issue should be solved by customers. In this essay, both views will be provided including my opinion.

Because of developments of technologies, many materials are chosen to make packages. Most of them are durable and difficult to biodegradable, for example, a stucture of plastic is polymers, around 3000 years are used to degrade. It becomes a problem when this substance is buried, components of soils are changed. This issue can be solved by two possible ideas.

First group of people believe a number of packages depend on producers. This problem would be solved, if packages were reduced using. However, in fact, packages are far more essential to producers because customers may be pursuaded to purchase products with attractive packages. On the other hand, in lately preriod, many campaigns linking to the reduction of using plastic packages are released.

Other group have contrast idea, costomers who pay for goods should be responsible. Garment bags should be used when they go shopping. If people did not need plastic bags, there is no need to producers to manufacture them. There is a trend that garment bags will be used.

In conclusion, Although there is using of plastic bags in some places, it will be ruduced by co-operation of producers and customers
