The bar chart below describes some changes about the percentage of people were born in Australia and who were born outside Australia living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

Answer

This bar chart illustrates the proportion of Australian citizens living in three different parts of the country aswell as those delivered outside the country.

This statistics are shown in year 1995 and 2010.

It is obvious that most people born in or out of the country prefer to reside in cities, however it is observed that people residing in towns and rural areas are fewer in year 2010 than 1995.

Looking at year 1995 , more citizens born in the country chose to live in town than those born outside Australia. With a figure of about 60% of the people live in the cities.

In comparison, there is an increase in population of people born outside of the country and a reduced number of people now living in rural areas. Moreso, citizens born in Australia living in rural areas as at 1995 have. mostly migrated to the city as at Year 2010

Write about the following topic.

Some people feel that manufacturers and supermarkets have the responsibility to reduce the amount of packaging of goods. Others argue that customers should avoid buying goods with a lot of packaging. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
