Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The chart gives information about how many twelve different countries won Olympic medals.

In general, the highest number of medals belongs to the USA while Japan collect the lowest finger for prizes.

The USA captures the first posions with around 2,300 prizes . The second winner is Soviet Union winning around 1,000 medal.

While the UK , France winning the same proportion at more than 500, capture the third prize

At the bottom of the chart is Japan and China which only have nearly 400 medals . Likewise, 6 countries namely Germany, Italy, Sweden, Australia, Hungary and East Germany have the same finger with around 500 prizes and is the largest group of the chart
