It is believed that overweight problem of children is caused by government. In my opinion, government sometimes plays an important role in this issue to which family could contribute more.
Lack of regulations on food production, city planning and video games related to government leads to rising weight of children. Firstly, there are more unhealthy food selling to children. Food industry used more suger and fat to produce beautiful and tasty snack which can attracted the attention of children. Junk food does harms to children's health and results in obesity. Secondly, city planning considers less about the public space for children doing exercise outdoors. Most of children live in city with busy traffic and crowded people and there are limited places for them to do some sports which is helpless to keep fit. Thirdly, addiction in video games enable children to get out of home seldom. They play the games with the same body action for a long time, which is not beneficial for them to burn the calorie.
More importantly, family is the origin of obesity problem. Diet and exercise habits form in daily life within parents. The requirements from family memeber is vital for children to eat healthy and have regular physical training. For example, parents can plan diet of children and list some food with high-value nutrition. Some sports facilities could be bought home and let children do sports following a restricted timetable, which is helpful for them to decrease the weight.
In conclusion, government should tackle the overweight problem in children by managing the food industry, city planning and video games, however, family is a key factor that declines the amout of fat children with the efforts of parents.
