It was great catching up with you the other day. You had mentioned, over our game of billiards, that you were considering getting a driver's license and I think that is a fantastic idea.
Learning how to drive and obtaining a driver's license will open up the country to you. There is nothing more liberating than being behind the wheel of a car knowing that you can travel to any destination within driving limits. Aside from having a sense of freedom, that comes with having a driver's license, you will also feel very independent as you will not have to rely on public transport or friends to pick and drop you to and from work. Moreover, you will be saving a lot of money as fuel costs have dropped.
While there are plenty of options to choose from, I recommend registering with Emirates Driving Institute as they do not charge quite as high as other driving schools. I would suggest brushing up on the traffic rules before you enroll as there will be an exam on driving laws that you will need to pass in order to receive your license.

Write about the following topic:
Should long-term job seekers in receipt of government benefits be made to do voluntary work so that they give something back to the community?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.
Unemployment is at an all-time high with job seekers relying on government benefits for their monthly expenses. Although some job seekers are genuine in their search for paid work, reports have shown that a large population is simply taking advantage of the government's benefits system.
The idea that job seekers in receipt of government benefits are required to do voluntary work is one that I agree with. I believe that voluntary work instills discipline and mentally prepares an individual to take on a full-time job. Moreover, those that are trying to exploit the system would be required to do work that gives back to the community which, in turn, means that the money being provided to job-seekers is not for free. A system like this would develop a sense of ownership within the population and push forth the idea that an individual needs to work for their living.
While browsing on youtube, I stumbled across a video interview of a family that was taking advantage of the government system. In the video, they had stated that there was no need to work if they were receiving unemployment wages. It is my firm belief that this sets a negative example for society; one that will impact the government's budget, employers and the country as a whole.
Voluntary work that gives back to society is noble and respectful and, if the Government enforces such work on people that are in receipt of benefits, the entire community, as a whole, will benefit. I believe that such a decision will reduce unemployment rates drastically.
