Dear Shefali,
My mother mentioned that she met you few days ago in India. She mentioned to me that you were interested in knowing about the country where I reside in. I am glad this gave us a chance to get connected over facebook.
I currently reside in Canada. Canada is full of interesting news stories. One of which that has caught major attention to public is where the government is addressing global warming. They have been coming up with ways to get it under control.
One of the upcoming project is the policy where the Canadian Government is going to mandate electric cars. People are very curious of when the policy is going to be implemented including myself. Even though it is a good thing that goverment will implement in the near future, it has got me worried. The impact on how the policy is going to work with the people who has recently purchased a car that runs on gas is still to be determined. I myself as you know, have a car which runs on gas, hope will not cause financial burden. I would like to know your thoughts on this as well when you wright back to me.

What should people do to stay healthy in your country?

As people say, health is wealth, it is a very improtant factor in life. People care for their health with utmost efforts. Some take it one step ahead by consulting a professional such as a dietition or a gym coach.
A good balanced diet is a very essential part in maintaining a good health. Excercise is also equaly important to increase once physical stamina. People should avoid stress as stress can impact badly to once health.
I believe people in my country do not take health seriously. They are pre-occupied with their busy lifestyle that they fail to maintain a good health and keep it as a last priority. Due to lack of time people often buy junk food which leads to obesity and heart problems.
Majority of the people in my country suffer from heart disease. For instance, my cousin who is just 32 years old suffered from heart attack due to excess oil consumption. People should make a diet plan and follow it strictly. They need to start by reducing junky oily food and increase the intake of vegetables.
Citizens do not understand the damage stress can do to once body. Some people do not understand the concept of stress at all. It can bring adverse affects to eating habits as well. I believe people should have the practice of meditation or doing yoga first thing in the moring to get the stress levels under control. Lastly, people can also invest on good smart watch which can track their stress level and heart rate.
