Since last decade, the number of people of various ages moving to English-speaking countries have been risen dramatically. This trend is developed to engage in learning English language and living in developed countries like Australia, Britain or America.
Most of these developed countries are English-speaking countries belonging to the G7 group that attract many people across the globe. These countries are also center of top ranking universities in the world which conduct education in English. Students of various nationalities are keen to study in these developed countries that offer high quality education and top of it students also get a privilege to experience different cultures. Since most of these universities and colleges provide grant or scholarship for academically bright pupils, it becomes easier to save on the tuition fees as well. All these factors lead students to pursue their higher educational dreams in an English-speaking country.
English language on other hand is believed to be easier to learn and is taught in primary schools of many developing countries like India, Nigeria,Vietname or Bangladesh to name a few. Most academic books and journals are published in English or an English version is readily available. It is observed that in a multinational gathering, people tend to communicate in English, thinking it as a common spoken language. Most educational and knowledge imparting websites are in English. Also, the computer programs are written in English language. Thus, it is seen that English has become an important language for anyone to learn and achieve a bright career.
In conclusion, it can be stated that international students prefer to study in English language wherein they opt to move to the English speaking countries to enjoy various cultures, study in renowned universities and gain a competitive advantage to excel in their careers.
