The given pie charts shows data on the population ages in Yemen and Italy in the year 2000 and also projected these portions of population for the year 2050.

According to the given data, more than half of the population of Yemen was below 14 years old in the year 2000. In this same year their population from 15 to 59 years old was just over 46% and only about 3% of their population was over 60 years old. In this year there were one-fourth population in Italy over 60 years old and more than 60% of their population was from 15 to 59 years old. The percentage of aged people in Italy was much higher than Yemen in 2000. Finally the percentage of population up to 14 years in Italy was less than 15% in this year was.

The pie charts also gives the projection of the percentage of population based on age group for the year 2050 and according to this projection the percentage of younger people in Yemen would decrease while the number of ag d people over 60 years would increase only by 2%. On the contrary, the aged people in Italy in 2050 would be more than 40% while they would have less young people.

Public health has been always one of the sophisticated issues in each society and over last several years, there have been done lots of efforts by governments to improve public health in some countries. However, some believe that extending sport facilities in each corner of the country can has a deep effect on this matter; some other opine that other ways would be more appreciated to have a healthy society. So this essay has tried to cover both of mentioned views and then will suggest one best strategy to increase health indicators.

Availability of sport facilities can make a situation that anyone in any place can do exercise and undeniably it affects some parameters of public health in a society. Put another way, these days people can easily find gems near their houses and they don’t need to waste time and cost for going to some specific areas to do exercise. By contrast, over last years, people should spend time for mentioned purpose and most of times they don’t attend to do exercise as they find it difficult because of the shortage of sport facilities.

However, making sport facilities in each streets or residential areas can have a bit effect on public health, this cannot encourage people to do exercise lonely. Hence, public awareness about the role of exercising on health would be considered besides extending gems. For example, Media should concern more about the public health and broadcast some suitable programs to show the importance of exercising on physical and mind health. Also, there should be held several meeting in schools and universities to invite people to go to gems by describing its benefits.

I think, therefore, if people know that exercising is such a long term investment as they don’t need to pay for serious diseases in older ages, they would be interested in using sport facilities; however, enough sport facilities should be constructed in each part of cities and villages.
